Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar – 230 kms / 06 Hrs
The embarkation point for Do Dham Yatra (Badrinath and Kedarnath) is railway station and airport in New Delhi. Board the flight/ train for Haridwar. Upon your arrival in Haridwar, partake in Ganga aarti at famous Har ki Pauri.
Upon your arrival in Haridwar, our tour representative will assist you in smooth transfer to the hotel. Post check-in at the hotel, our representative will brief you about the holy trek. Dinner and overnight stay is planned in Haridwar.
Route Remarks – For purchasing food items and using washroom facilities, Meerut is the mid-way halt for you.
Highlight of the day – Evening Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 02: Haridwar - Guptkashi, 250 kms / 8-9 hrs
Post breakfast, leave on road to Guptkashi. En-route halt in Deoprayag (the point of meeting for river Bhagirathi & Alaknanda), Rudraprayag (the point of meeting for river Mandakini & Alaknanda) and enjoy lunch at Kirtinagar. Stay overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 03: Guptkashi - Kedarnath, 32 kms / 2 hrs & 14 kms / 6-7 hrs
Post breakfast in the morning, leave on road to Gaurikund via vehicle and merge with other pilgrims for 14 kilometers trek to Kedarnath. Upon your arrival in Kedarnath, our tour representative will meet and escort you to your hotel and brief you about other logistics of Kedarnath. In the evening, offer prayers at Kedarnath temple. Stay overnight in Kedarnath.

Route Remarks - En route halt in Rambara for lunch and meet the sage at Garudchatti, who resides here throughout the year amidst extreme weather conditions.

Today's Sight – Built by Adi Guru Sankracharya in 8th century A.D., Kedarnath temple lies next to an ancient temple built by Pandavas. Renowned as one of the 12 jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, the 1000 year old temple boasts of a conical lingam, statue of Nandi-the sacred bull, a 'Garbha Grah' for worship and a Mandap used for fire sacrifice.

Other Important Sights – Sankracharya Samadhi: Located at the back side of Kedarnath temple is the Samadhi of Adi Guru Sankracharya. It is believed that Adi Guru Sankracharya went into Samadhi at the age of 32 years, after instituting four sacred Dham's in Uttarakhand.

Bhaironath Temple: Situated at a distance of ½ kilometer from Kedarnath temple is Bhaironath temple, dedicated to lord Bhaironath. The temple is worshipped on the opening and closing day of Kedarnath temple.

Day 04: Kedarnath - Guptkashi - Rudraprayag, 14 kms trek / 5 hrs 74 kms Drive / 3 hrs
Post breakfast in the morning, trek down to Gaurikund (14 kilometers trek) and take a 3 hour drive to Birhi (74 kilometers).

Day 05: Rudraprayag - Badrinath 158 kms / 07-08 hrs
Post breakfast in the morning, hit the road to Badrinath. En-route visit Jyotirmath and offer praying at Badrinath temple. Stay overnight at Badrinath.

Today's Sight - Snuggled between the holy mountain range of Nar and Narayan, Badrinath is the most revered among the four main shrines. The shrine is situated along the left bank of river Alaknanda in the backdrop of towering Neelkantha Mountains. The holy town was once covered with wild berries aka 'badris' and Lord Vishnu meditated here for 1000 years, therefore, it is known as Badrinath.

Badrinath ji Sightseeing;

  • Narad Kund: It is a small pool near Tapt Kund where the idol of Lord Badrinath was discovered.
  • Brahma Kapal: Situated on the bank of river Alaknanda, Brahma Kapal is a flat platform located just few yards from the main temple. The place is important from the perspective of shradh ceremony wherein people offer pinds to ensure heaven for their dead ancestors.
  • Sheshnetra: One of the major holy sites in Badrinath, Sheshnetra is situated about 1.5 kilometers from the main temple. It is a large stone marked by the boulder impression of legendry serpent-Sheshnag.
  • Mana Village: Situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, Mana village is inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe. The village is home to famous Vyas Gufa.
  • Bhim Pul: It is a natural bridge formed by a huge rock over the roaring Saraswati River. It is believed that Bhim, the second eldest Pandava brother, placed it to build the narrow passage.
  • Vyas Gufa (cave): Vyas Gufa, located in close proximity to Mana village, is believed to be the site where legendry epic Mahabharata was composed.

Day 06: Badrinath - Jyotirmath - Rudraprayag or Srinagar, 158 kms / 07 hrs or 198 kms / 08 hrs
Post breakfast in the morning; hit the road to Mana Village (03 kilometers from Badrinath). On reaching Mana village, explore Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Depart for Jyotirmath via road vehicle. On the way, visit Vishnu Prayag-the meeting point of river Dhauli and Alaknanda River. Upon arrival in Jyotirmath, pay visit to Adi Guru Sankracharya Math. Post lunch, head straight to Rudraprayag / Srinagar. Overnight stay is scheduled at Rudraprayag/ Srinagar.

Route Remarks – On the way, halt in Birhi for food, refreshment and washroom purpose.

Day 07: Rudraprayag or Srinagar - Haridwar 160 kms / 4 hrs
Post breakfast in the morning, hit the road to Haridwar. In the evening, partake in Pooja ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ghat. Overnight stay is planned at Haridwar.

Route Remarks – Stopover Refreshment option at Rishikesh.

  • Today's Sight – En route Karn Prayag (confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda)
  • Nandprayag (confluence of river Nandakini and Alaknanda River)
  • Deoprayag two rivers confluence Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River

Day 08: Haridwar - Delhi 215 kms / 07 hrs
Post breakfast in the morning, hit the road to Delhi. En route, halt for lunch and later drop at Delhi city.
