Kailash Mansarovar yatra

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu
After arriving at Kathmandu airport you will be received by the representatives of NTP and they will make arrangement for you in the best hotels of Kathmandu where you can stay overnight. Dinner will be provided at hotel and you can rest and relax for the night. Rooms are provided in twin sharing basis.

Day 2: Pashupatinath Temple 
After morning breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Pashupathinath Temple for darshan and again you will be brought back to the hotel for lunch. For security reasons cloth inspection will be done and you will be briefed about the tour in the hotel. In the evening you can stroll around the marketplace of Kathmandu which is located near to the hotel you are staying. After an evening in the market you may return back to hotel for dinner and to take rest to prepare yourself for the next day voyage.

Day 3: Zhangmu - Nylam
Third day of the journey is the day for security and immigration checks. After your breakfast you will be transferred to Tibet which is about 150 Km and on your way to Tibet you can have lunch. After completing the custom and immigration formalities you need to head towards the Tibet border (Zhangmu). At the border you will meet with a Chinese guide who will be ready for you with a land cruiser and driver to make the voyage convenient. On your new vehicle you will be transferred to Nyalam where you will stay overnight and dinner will be provided at Nyalam Lodge. 

Day 4: Nylam
The 4th day is yours as you can spend the day according to your desire. You will have the complete day to become accustomed about the new country and explore the food, culture and people of the country. All the meals are offered by the Lodge. You can explore the market areas to have fun and gather information.  

Day 5: Nylam - Saga
After having your breakfast you will head to Saga which is 250 km away from Nyalam. On your way to Saga you can enjoy the panoramic views of Mt Shishapangma, Gauri Shankar and other mountains from the Lablung La Pass. Lake Pikusto is another attraction that you can explore on your way to Saga. A room in Saga Hotel will be booked for you where you can stay overnight. 

Day 6: Saga - Mansarovar Lake
On the 6th day you will have the darshan of Holy peak Kailash Mountain and Mansarover Lake, both this places have a mention in the epics of Hindu religion. On your way to these places you will be provided with lunch and dinner and stay at camp Horchu.

Day 7: Mansarovar - Darchen
In the first half of the day you can experience the performance of hawan and puja at some of the popular temples of the place and in the second half you need to head to Darchen through Mansarover Parikrama point. You need to dine, stay and relax at tent. 

Day 8: Tarboche - Yam Dwar - Diraphuk
After taking your breakfast you will leave for Tarboche and Yam Dwar and from there you will start trekking towards Diraphuk, this is the popular and known Kailash Parikrama. On your way you will be provided with lunch and dinner at the camp where you will stay overnight.

Day 9: Dolma La Pass - Gauri Kund - Zuthulphuk
Get ready to trek back again. All tourists will trek to Dolma La Pass and during your trekking you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains and also you can take rest for sometime and then move down to Gauri Kund. This is the toughest trek so it is advisable to carry light luggage and bags while trekking. From Gauri Kund you will head towards Zuthulphuk beside the river banks. After reaching Zuthulphuk you need to stay overnight in camp by sharing with other tourists.

Day 10: Paryang - Saga
On the 10th day you will be transferred to Paryang through Manasarover Horchu. After taking your breakfast you need to trek for another 8 km to reach the point where you will find jeeps waiting to take you to the Darchen where parikrama circuit ends. Here you will be provided with lunch and then you will be transferred to Paryang through Manasarover Horchu. Staying overnight in guesthouse and all meals are provided.    

Day 11: Saga - Nylam
Post breakfast you will be taken to Nyalam where rooms are available for you in a pre booked hotel. Here you can have your dinner and stay overnight.  

Day 12: Nylam - Kathmandu
After your breakfast we will drive to Zhangmu for custom and immigration checks. After lunch at guest house in Nepal border we will head toward Kathmandu. After arriving Kathmandu you will stay, relax and dine at pre booked hotel.  

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
Shared cab is ready for you. This cab will take you to Kathmandu International Airport for departure.

Excluding Packages

Package Exclusions:

  • The expanses of air tickets back and forth Kathmandu will be paid by the tourists
  • Charges for additional yaks and ponies will be paid by the tourists if required. But arrangement can only be made if the tourists intimate about the additional ponies in prior.
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, extra porters, drinks, telephone and the tourists should take care of the travel insurance by their own. 
  • In case of flight cancellation, medical emergencies, re-scheduling, delays, riots, strikes accidents or other issues that are beyond human control, all the expanses involved will be paid by the tourists itself.     
  • Expanses for the services that are not mentioned in the list will be paid by the tourists
  • Expanses of additional porters for personal use
  • Yak , Horses Pony charges are extra.

In Tibet:

  • Our agents will handle all the proceedings and documentation for in-out travel in China and Tibet
  • Transportation facility in Japanese Land Cruiser, coach will be offered with bus or truck for parallel support.  
  • Staffs are experienced and they can prepare mouthwatering vegetarian meals. Three meals are provided in a day
  • All equipments for camping and other necessities are offered by our agents including sleeping bags, toiletry, tenting, dinning etc. To store the clothes and other essential items during your journey our agents will provide duffle bags.
  • We will provide well educated and English speaking guide,
  • Oxygen cylinders are available and arranged by us if required during emergencies. 

Risk & Liabilities:

• We try our level best and make possible efforts to make the journey pleasant and smooth as per your need. But, all the treks and tours to Tibet strictly runs under Tibet Tourism Bureau, Therefore, NTP Tourism Affairs Ltd or its Tibet counterpart agent are not accountable for any cancellation or alteration of the program due to unavoidable situations that is beyond human control like accident, sickness, rejection of visa by Chinese authorities, lack of transportation, delay in arrival, political unrest cancellation of flight, snow fall, landslide and road blockade. The tourists need to bear the additional cost incurring during the journey. Tibet is a remote area, thus the roads are very rough and vehicle in good condition may also break down sometime.               

• It is advisable that all tourists opting for this package should equip themselves with full insurance against personal accident risk, trip cancellation and medical.
